What is rock music?
Rock music has distorted and heavy
rhythm. It is usually played by a band. Instruments is part of rock music that
includes electric guitars, drums, and bass and a lyric sung by the vocalist. In
rock music we need to have a contagious energy for it will drain us ones we
heard and go along with it. There are many songwriters and band who are capable
of doing a rock music here in the Philippines. Just like in pop music, it can
also be used in different celebrations. Filipinos love to celebrate their
country men achievement and they usually used this genre. They also used it
when they have problems, they will let rock music drain their energy in a day
than thinking about their problems. That is what rock music brings to us.

the popular styles of the day, country music and blues, morphed into a new
sound aided by electric guitars and a steady drumbeat. Pioneering rock artists
of the 1950s such as Chuck Berry leaned heavily on classic blues structures
while demonstrating a flair as natural-born entertainers. In contrast to the
safe pop music of the era, rock’s aggressive attack suggested a sexual freedom
that was shocking during that conservative age”
